Some recent photos from Folsom Hall are below.
Folsom Hall has a 120-seat computer lab/classroom, the largest of its kind at Sacramento State. The computers can be stored under the desktops to provide more space when not in use. |
The lecture halls at Folsom Hall are large enough for nursing classes of 80 students. There are two amphitheatre-style lecture halls such as this one, which seats up to 125 students and is equipped with pivoting seats every other row so that group work may be completed with ease. |
The human patient simulation laboratory rooms are complete with one-way mirrors so that faculty may observe, direct, and film the simulations via computer from a control room behind the glass. In nearby debriefing rooms, fellow students may watch the video of the simulation in progress or on a later date. This image is from the birthing simulator, Noelle. Other high fidelity simulators are used by pediatric and medical surgical nursing students. |
The skills laboratory now operates in spacious new rooms. Each of the three large lab rooms have a nursing station, just like a hospital. The hospital beds may contain a mid fidelity human patient simulator or a standard patient mannequin. |
Smaller lab rooms at Folsom Hall also contain specialty mid-fidelity patient simulators such as this one for newborn infants and another for pediatrics. |
