The 2009 Spring Awards and Election Luncheon

Monday, May 4, Dante Club

More than 100 Renaissance members enjoyed the luncheon, met the three scholarship winners, heard lovely piano music and elected the 2009-2010 officers.

CSUS senior Surina Yoon, a piano performance major, played a variety of songs and tunes during the luncheon.

Lou Weintraub (left) and Doug Fulton of the Scholarship Committee presented the scholarships to Alexander Gaither (above photo), Ramon Figueroa (middle photo below) and Crisostomo Yalung (bottom photo).

The new officers were elected by acclamation. They will take office on July 1. They are President Garey Young, Vice President P.J. Garrido, Secretary Coby Bonner, Controller John Walker and Members-at-Large Gloria Reynolds, Joy Skalbeck and Susan Wilson.

The Watercolor Painting class provided a lovely exhibit of some of the works the participants have created this semester.
