"When We Were Colored: A Mother's Story" by
Eva Rutland, mother of journalist Ginger Rutland, will have an intimate conversation about life in the years before affirmative action, when segregation was the norm. Thursday, February 16, Noon-2:00 in the University Union Redwood Room. Presented by the President's Committee to Build Campus Unity.
"We Stand on Thier Shoulders" by
Felicenne Ramey, Photographer and Interviewer. The exhibit consists portraidts of elder African Americans, women over 90 years of age and men over 80, that Ramey interviewed throughout the US. In the Library Lobby, ongoing.
