The Emeritus Association Annual Buffet Dinner
November 14, 2008

The Transylvania Mania from the Broadway play, Young Frankenstein
The 2008 Emeritus Fall Dinner presented a review of Broadway hit music directed by Ed Brazo and accompanied by Sam Schieber on the piano. See all 97 attendees below. You can locate your friends using the "Find a Friend" chart at the bottom of this page.
Karyn Domich (left) and Lynda White (table 7) greeted everyone at the door. We had more staff participants (table 1, table 6); and more from the College of Education (table 1, table 8). Many were pleased to see that Jerry Tobey (table 12), Mavis Perry (table 12), and Gay Kornweibel (table 13) were recovered from their recent illnesses and back among us. There were quite a few "first timers" like Dick and Noureen Kellough (table 1), George Rich (table 2), John McFadden, Kal and Char Gezi (table 8), and Joyce and Mahlon Heller (table 11).
Students from the Music Department began the entertainment with a surprise infiltration of ghosts and goblins wandering among us and coalescing on the center stage with the "Transylvania Mania" from the Broadway play, Young Frankenstein (See the headliner.) The surprising opening act was followed by more songs from plays and movies sung by Brian Watson, Annie Purvis, Brad Bong, and Joey Vaughn. In a word, "OUTSTANDING!"
