Founded in 1980, Samahang Pilipino has continued to provide both social and culural activities for students and faculty alike. Today we are stronger than ever, and with the influx of new students to this campus, we hope to continue for years to come.
Samahang Pilipino's purpose is to educate its members by providing them with opportunites to learn about the Pilipino cuture, which include historic events and actualites as well as controversial issues of the present time. We expect to motivate members in being culturally aware through both formal and informal interactions with one another. As Pilipinos in America, we look to enlighten each other with our own individual experiences.
