SHAC
What is the Student Health Advisory Committee or SHAC?
The student health advisory committee is a group of students who advise the Director of the Student Health Center
and the Vice President of Student Affairs in health-related and Health Center related issues. SHAC also does events that help
educate students and faculty about health. Another responsibility SHAC has is getting feedback from students about
the Health Center and also about health concerns the students have.

SHAC is an organization that advises the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Director of the Health Center on how the Student
Health Center functions, the services it provides, operating procedures, and personnel selection. SHAC members have the opportunity
to gain leadership skills and may receive a letter of recommendation relative to their career pursuit. SHAC welcomes students from all majors.

Anyone is welcome to join! If you are interested you can contact us at csusshac@aol.com or come to any of our meetings.

If you want to get involved with SHAC, contact them through the Health Education Department at 278-5422.
