What can the Student Health Advisory Committee do for you as a member?
-It allows you to contribute ideas and opinions related to Student Health Center Issues
-It is great for resumes, grad school applications and has the opportunity to gain letters of recommendation
- It provides you with leadership skills
- Gives you the opportunity to meet doctors, nurses and key people in the health field
-Allows you to represent the student body in health issues
-Last, but not least SHAC is a great way to meet and become involved with other students

SHAC is an organization that advises the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Director of the Health Center on how the Student Health Center functions, the services it provides, operating procedures, and personnel selection. SHAC members have the opportunity to gain leadership skills and may receive a letter of recommendation relative to their career pursuit. SHAC welcomes students from all majors.
