Becoming a Sister of Sigma Omega Nu

Membership is open to all undergraduate women enrolled at Sacramento State University on a full time basis and any graduate student pursuing her graduate degree with a minimum G.P.A of 2.0. Anyone interested is encouraged to seek more information on how to become a member of Sigma Omega Nu. Rush takes place during the first two weeks of each semester and it is the time for all interested women to attend informational meetings and ask questions as well as interact with the members of the sorority. Look for our booth in the quad during the first two weeks of each semester. Expansion

Sigma Omega Nu is in the process of expanding to other campuses. If you are interested in starting Sigma Omega Nu on your campus the first step would be to begin an interest group. The interested group must be composed of at least six full time undergraduate or graduate students whom have a minimum 2.0 G.P.A. at their prospective university. Once an interest group is established you can contact Sigma Omega Nu Expansion Committee Chair to request an informational packet and to make arrangements for an informational session and presentation from a current member of Sigma Omega Nu.
