VP Education, Terry Martin
"Leadership is denoted not by titles, but by actions."

Terry Martin is a senior Government major with a double minor in Economics and Communication Studies. He is proud to serve as VP Education for the 2008-09 school year. Terry is a veteran of student politics, using his speaking voice and eloquence to enhance his presence and message.
As an officer of 3 clubs and a member of 5 university committees, Terry is an active member of the Sacramento State community. His decisions help shape both campus policy and the day-to-day operations of student clubs and organizations. He enjoys civic engagement and volunteer work, and is also a participant of UNiQUE, University Union Programs.
In his spare time, Terry writes and plays music. He is a singer and guitar player currently performing with several local rock bands. Terry says he'd like to be a rock star, but "politics is where I can really apply my abilities". He is a self-described political dork and enjoys following current events. He will be graduating Sac State during the Summer 2009 semester before pursuing graduate studies in Public Policy and Administration. He aspires to become a leader in California and one day hold public office.
