Sacramento State officials are prepared for the seasonal flu and Novel H1N1 influenza strain (previously known as swine flu) circulating this year.

  • Immunization clinics are being scheduled.
  • A plan to minimize the spread of any influenza cases is in place and constantly updated.
  • Sacramento State is following health protocols issued by federal, state and local health agencies.
  • Sacramento State’s Student Health Center has doctors, nurses and other staff members who work closely with public health agencies and other campus departments to ensure new information is available to everyone as soon as it becomes available.
  • Sacramento State staff have been trained on techniques to minimize the spread of influenza.
  • Any student with flu symptoms is encouraged to call the Student Health Center at (916) 278-6461.

Please note: The campus Health Center will be closed Friday, Oct. 2 and Friday, Oct. 16 for furlough days.
