Offices open on Aug. 14 campus-designated furlough day (8/11/09)

Friday, August 14, is a campus designated furlough day for staff, MPP and non-represented employees who are subject to the furlough plan. Most campus offices are closed. If you plan to visit the campus for business, it is advisable to please call ahead to determine if the office you plan to visit is open.

The Alumni Center, ASI Offices, Bookstore, Child Care Center, College of Continuing Education classes, Food Services, UEI Administrative Offices, the University Union Building, and University Union Offices will remain open Friday, August 14.

The following are open:
Offices/Facilities: Open to Public
·  All scheduled classes, summer camps, conferences, public events, and admission group tours will continue as planned.
·  Public Safety will provide full services to the campus on Friday, August 14.
·  Facilities Services Call Center will be open with limited services provided.

Employees not subject to furlough should report to work as regularly scheduled. Those employees subject to furlough who have already been notified by their manager they need to work Friday, August 14, should nominate another furlough day during the August pay period.
