The Alex G. Spanos Sports and Recreation Complex
The Alex G. Spanos Sports and Recreation Complex is an ambitious project that will change the face and character of Sacramento State. It is a centerpiece of Destination 2010, an initiative to transform the campus into a premier metropolitan university and a destination campus.
The Complex will help energize the campus as it redefines the student experience with a broad new range of fitness and recreational options, entertainment, cultural events and social activities. It will be a destination for area residents, a place where our vibrant campus intersects with the community. Its first-rate facilities will enhance recruiting for our NCAA Division I athletics program, and attract many more supporters to contests.

Aquatic Center
The Sacramento State Aquatic Center is located about 15 miles east of the University at Lake Natoma, one of the top rowing venues in the country. The Center hosts various regional and national meets, including the annual Pacific Coast Rowing Championships. Classes on boating and other water-sports are offered to Sacramento State students and community members.
Center for Collaborative Policy
Located just a few blocks from the State Capitol building and five miles from Sacramento State, the Center for Collaborative Policy offers service to parties involved in public disputes at the state, regional and local level. These disputes range from conflicts between public agencies to multi-party disputes on major policy issues. The center uses methods such as mediation, negotiation and consensus-building. Its goal is to help reach solutions that satisfy all parties and avoid the traditional adversarial processes.
