Log On to the Sacramento State Network

To gain access to the Internet or campus network resources via the CSUS wireless or open jack network, you will need to log on to the authentication page using your SacLink username and password. To use this service, you must abide by Sacramento State Network Use Policies.

1. To reach the authentication page: turn on your computer, enable your wireless card in an active wireless location or use an open jack, open a Web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Firefox, etc.), and try to access a Web page. There are two sites that do not require authentication, www.csus.edu and www.saclink.csus.edu. Web pages from all other sites will automatically redirect to the authentication page.
   
2. Log in with your SacLink username and password.

3. You should now be connected! The log out page will appear and your home page or other site you chose to visit should now open unless you have a pop up blocker activated. If your home page did not open automatically, click the Web page's hyperlink located on the logout page.

4. It is best to keep the Log Out page available and click the Log Out button when you are ready to disconnect from the network. If you accidentally close this page, please note that you will not be logged out until you shut down your computer or until there is a set period of inactivity.
