Planning initiatives are projects and activities designed to respond to University planning objectives. The President initiates the call for initiatives. The Vice Presidents, in consultation with their units, develop initiative proposals. The Council for University Planning reviews the initiative proposals for completeness, clarity, and accuracy and makes recommendations to the President’s Cabinet for approval.
The Vice Presidents also prepare “Sunset Reports” on initiatives that are at the end of their effective timelines. The reports are forwarded to the Council and, based on these reports; the Council recommends the continuation or completion of a planning objective. |
