Budget and Action Plan

The Council for University Planning is charged with coordinating the University’s planning process and recommending future directions for the University. To discharge this function, the Council annually develops an action plan that stems from its review of assessment information relating to the Strategic Plan, the planning objectives, and the progress reports. The action plan consists of the following parts:

• “Referrals” of issues to be assigned to appropriate groups or units
• Suggested “in depth studies” that would provide needed research data and information to advance planning
• “Data Issues” to be addressed by the Office of Institutional Research to strengthen assessment
• Suggested “Strategic Plan Revisions” to maintain the currency and relevance of our Strategic Plan
