English Student Recognition
BOB STANLEY, English graduate
student, had poems accepted
for publication by fi ve literary
journals. In addition to two
pieces that were accepted by
Calaveras Station, the University’s
literary journal, his poem
“Morning” was accepted by
Hidden Oak, a poetry journal in
Pennsylvania. He also had poems
accepted by Rattlesnake Review,
PDQ, and the online journal
eskimopie.com. Stanley leads an
ongoing poetry workshop at the
Writing Center.
MIRANDA SAAKE, creative
writing graduate student, had her
short story “Current” accepted
for publication in Gargoyle: An
International Journal of Writing. CSUS Bulletin - February 25 - March 3, 2002
