Student Work
Geography majors Heather Bills, Christopher Burton and Ronnie Caluza presented their work at the annual meeting of the California Geographical Society, April 22-24, 2005, in Yosemite National Park. Bills presented on Holocene vegetation change in Siskiyou County, Burton on non-taxable property in Oak Park and, Caluza on planning the American River Parkway/Filipinos in Sacramento. Caluza won first place and second place in the poster competition and received the $1,000 David Lantis Scholarship for undergraduates. Burton took third place in the mapping competition.
