Faculty Publications and Presentations on Teaching

CHERYL OSBORNE, gerontology and nursing, presented several workshops in February and March. She presented “Assessing Elders’ Needs” at a public seminar at Fremont Presbyterian Church and “Service Learning Partnerships Connect Theory and Practice” at the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education’s 28th annual Educational Leadership Conference in Pittsburg, Penn. And she was co-presenter at the CSU Gerontology Summit at CSU Northridge for “Integrating Academic, Professional and Applied Experiences in Gerontology Internships.”

Serves as a Mentor in the educational objective to provide to "novice" technology faculty users the services of "experienced" technology faculty users who have been trained on adult learning strategies, to work with faculty on incorporating technology tools into their teaching.
