Michael Nave and Lois Boulgarides , kinesiology and health science, participated in a discussion group sponsored by the CSU system on enhancing student learning outcomes.
Suzanne Sutherland, nursing, presented “Attributes Identifiable at Admission Can Identify Students Unlikely to Pass NCLEX” in April to a joint research conference sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, Samuel Merritt College and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society held in Oakland. She also presented a poster at the American Burn Association in British Columbia in March on “Rising Turnover Rates and Best Retention Sources in a Burn Unit.”
SUZANNE SUTHERLAND, nursing, presented two papers to the Canadian Association of Burn Nurses in Winnipeg, Canada in September, 2002. The papers were a facilitated poster session and “Work, Work, Work: The Burn Patient’s Experience of Hospitalization.”
