Faculty Professional Development Activities Related to Teaching

“You see it all across the campus—professors are involved in their students' lives, and that
makes a big difference,” Valdez says. “Teaching is my art and my passion.
When I look back to my time in school, it was the teachers who were passionate about
what they were doing and about who they were teaching who were really good.
I try to be like that.”
