- During Fall 2000 sabbatical, participated in Council of Europe conference discussions in Moscow, and consulted with Tbilisi City Council (former Republic of Georgia).
- Continued work with Far Eastern State University, Vladivostok, Russia on expanding their curricular approaches to incorporate internet technology.
- Chaired CSU Academic Senate Task Force and authored report, Graduate Education in the CSU, (2004).
- Continue to serve on multiple committees and task forces at statewide level which produce written reports on the following issues: improving transfer in the CSU, use of technology to increase access to education, inter-segmental efforts in doctoral
education, etc.
