Michael Minnick (MPPA 2007) has recently been appointed to the Steering Committee of the National Children’s Study.
A program of the National Institute of Health, the National Children’s Study will examine the growth, development, and health of over 100,000 children across the United States, following them from before birth until age 21. Made up of nearly 300 Study Center representatives, NIH staff and investigators, Minnick will be one of only six “Community Representatives” to serve on the Committee. During his two-year term, Minnick will be responsible for providing expertise regarding structuring the study efforts to maximize participation by community members.
