Collaborative Governance Specialization

In close collaboration with Sacramento State’s Center for Collaborative Policy, the Department of Public Policy and Administration has developed a graduate specialization in the emerging field of collaborative governance. The department offers three courses in this area:
PPA 270: Introduction to Collaborative Policy Making
,
PPA 271: Practice of Collaborative Policy Making
, and
PPA 272, Advance Practice in Collaborative Policy (formerly PPA 296L).
The University's on-line catalog lists curricular requirements for the certificate here.

In 2006 the Department started offering a new graduate level Certificate in Collaborative Governance.
Students and alumni who successfully complete all three of the above courses (i.e., PPA 270 , PPA 271 , and PPA 272 ) will be eligible for the Certificate.

See specific eligibility requirements for the Collaborative Governance Certificate.
