Tuan Pham is the Desktop Software Support Consultant for Information Resources and Technology. His nominator mentioned, “Tuan’s solutions are directly attributable to his mastery of the computer programming, his inquisitive intelligence and ability to innovate and most importantly, his interest in providing exemplary customer service.” Tuan’s colleague described him as “a model employee who is dedicated to his work, performing every task with professionalism and treats every person with the utmost respect.”

Richard Clakeley is the Event Service Coordinator for the University Union. Richard’s desire to positively promote Sacramento State as a quality venue for all events is commendable. His colleague indicated, “He is an exceptionally dedicated individual who goes above and beyond his job description on a continuous basis.” Richard was described as an employee who “creates lasting relationships through the excellent assistance of event planning.” My thanks to everyone who sent in nominations. We will keep all the recommendations as part of the continuing pool of nominees until June 2009, and all nominees are eligible for the award until then. I encourage those of you who are considering nominating an excellent employee to do so. You can help make a deserving staff member feel great about the wonderful job they do for the University. Names of the recipients will be announced in February as the “Employee of the Month.”
