Elvia Felix is the Accounting Technician for Associated Students, Inc. Elvia was described as “always friendly in responding to questions quickly and often finding solutions to unusual problems with accuracy and speed.” Her nominator also mentioned, “Elvia perpetually offers services with a smile.”

Beverly Reed is the Administrative Support Coordinator for the English Department. Beverly’s nominator mentioned she “demonstrates both leadership and collaboration.” Her colleague also indicated “Beverly’s many years of experience on campus have been a valuable asset to the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) Coordinator as the department has been making major changes.”

My thanks to everyone who submitted recommendations. Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2009/2010 academic year. Names of the next recipients will be announced in January as the “Employee of the Month.”
