Our Mission
The mission of the PRIDE Center is to support the LGBTIAQQ students of California State University, Sacramento. Through dynamic programming and educational outreach the PRIDE Center seeks to improve the campus climate for LGBTIAQQ students and advocate for the respect and safety of all members of the campus community. In collaboration with other campus programs the PRIDE Center works to meet the needs of students to promote the successful completion of their educational goals. We sponsor educational and community building programs. Our library has an extensive collection of books, magazines, and videos concerning LGBT issues. Computers with internet access are available for all students. Space can be used for club meetings, studying, and hanging out. The center networks with campus and Sacramento area organizations in order to build a stronger community and support system for the LGBTIAQQ students of Sacramento State.
