Theme One – Foster Excellent Academic and Student Programs

Research and Evaluation Program Develop and utilize a comprehensive therapy outcome/client satisfaction questionnaire. Data can be used to track changes in overall functioning, symptom reduction, and impact on academic performance. |
Intended Outcome |
Achieve a 50% return rate by end of first year and a 75% return rate by end of second year. |
Measurement |
Return and completion rate of 50% of all eligible clients by end of first year and 75% by the end of second year (2006-2007). Analyze data and share with appropriate staff. |

Group Therapy Program . PCS has for many years offered various groups to Sac State Students. |
Intended Outcome |
Further develop the group therapy program. We expect to name a "Group Coordinator" who can manage group development issues (scheduling, advertising). We expect to have 3 successful groups running during the 2005-06 academic year, each with 6-8 participants. |

Theme Three – Create a Dynamic Physical Campus

Move PCS from current location to the RWEC. Although this move is in the future, planning is current. This move will put PCS in a more visible setting and will offer clients greater confidentiality as they will no longer have to wait for services in a public area. |
Intended Outcome |
Increased visibility and increased utilization of psychological services (at least 5% increase). |
Measurement |
Measure the number of drop-in clients and the number of referrals. |

Become certified as a Continuing Education (MCEP) approved site for continuing psychological programs. |
Intended Outcome |
Apply for and receive certification as a Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists (MCEP) approved site so that PCS can offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to PCS staff, university faculty, and community members. As a host for such a course, PCS will be able to raise funds for speakers, build stronger relationships with academic departments and develop a more collegial relationship with providers in the community. |

Become a practicum training program for Alliant International’s advanced graduate students. |

Increase the number of “therapists-in-training” who can provide direct services to Sac State students. |
