Groups and Workshops

Group Counseling is a confidential service provided through your student fees and at no further cost to you. Therapy groups are often limited to a maximum of 12 people. Once therapy groups have begun the group is often closed. The reason for this is that having a closed group with a small number of members allows for trust building and group cohesion, thus allowing groups to be therapeutic.

How to Sign Up:

Groups are not set up for drop-ins, so please contact the group leader prior to the first group meeting to ensure there is room and that the group will meet your needs. Groups do fill up quickly, so if you are interested in a group you are encouraged to contact the group leader or click “I’m Interested in this Group” link as soon as possible.
