The People and Pride of Sac State

For alumni who haven’t been to campus for many years, a return trip can be a bit baffling. Construction is nearly always underway–changing the skyline and pathways, and making once-familiar landscapes seem new. Students dress and speak differently, they listen to different music.

But some things never change, and energy, hope and pride continue to define these 300 acres on J Street. You can feel it when you visit, and on the following pages our photographers Steve McKay, Sam Parsons, and A. C. Santos have attempted to capture it.
