CSUS is happy to offer comfortable and economically priced accommodations for the Olympic Track and Field Trials being held on our beautiful campus. The residence hall accommodations are conveniently located on the north side of campus.

* PACKAGE OPTIONS - FOR SPECTATORS
  • Three different package plans which include accommodations and meals have been designed for spectators attending the Olympic Track and Field Trials. (Note: If you are an official staff member for the Trials, please contact our office for more information.)

  • All space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please submit reservations as early as possible.

  • Full payment must be received with reservation form.

 * ACCOMMODATIONS

  • Reservations can be made for a Single Room (1 person per room) or a Double Room (2 people per room).

  • Rooms may not house more overnight guests than stipulated in above description.

  • Residence halls are 3 story buildings (sorry, no elevators) which are air conditioned and smoke free for your comfort.

  • Rooms are carpeted and furnished with extra long twin beds, dresser, closet and desk.

  • Separate community bathroom and shower facilities for men and women located on each floor.

  • Linen is provided and includes sheets, blanket, pillow, towels, and wash cloth. A daily towel exchange will be available to guests.

  • For everyone's safety, buildings are secured 24 hours a day. Each guest staying in the residence halls will be issued a key to allow access to building entry doors, room doors, and the pool facilities.

* RECREATION FACILITIES

  • Each building has a recreation room with a big screen TV, pool table, and ping pong table.

  • There are also tennis courts and a basketball court.

  • Guests staying in the residence halls will have access to the swimming pool area 8:00am - 10:00pm.

  • Proper supervision of guests under the age of 18 is required at all times. Please note - there is no life guard on duty!

* DINING SERVICES
  • Meals will be served cafeteria style in the Dining Commons (DC) located in the residence hall complex.

  • Each guest will be issued a Dining Card that must be presented at every meal to gain access to the DC.

  • Menu offers a variety of entrees, full salad bar, soups, fresh fruit, breakfast bar, cereal, desserts and a large variety of beverages.

  • DC Convenience Store features beverages, snacks, sandwiches, salads, candy, ice cream and various other items.

* PARKING
  • Limited parking is available adjacent to the residence hall complex for your convenience. Parking is restricted to areas reserved for residence hall parking ONLY.

  • Because of limited space, guests are encouraged to carpool if possible.

  • All vehicles require a valid parking permit be displayed at all times. Vehicles without valid permits will be cited.

  • Guests should request the number of parking permits they require on the reservation form. Permits will be issued at check-in.

  • Parking permit fee should be paid with a separate check. If a parking permit is not available when your reservation is processed, parking payment will be returned to you.

* RESERVATIONS
  • Please contact Peggy Luers at (916) 278-6655 or luersp@csus.edu to request a spectator reservation packet be sent to you.

  • Accommodations may be reserved in the residence halls by completing a designated reservation form for spectators and submitting it along with payment to CSUS Housing Office.

  • Payment must be made in full when reservation is submitted. Payment should be made using a check or money order. Sorry, no credit cards accepted.

* CONFIRMATIONS
  • A confirmation will be sent to those who have completed the necessary reservation procedures.

* CANCELLATIONS
  • Refunds will be issued if request for cancellation is received in writing no later than JUNE 1, 2000.

  • A $25 cancellation fee will be assessed.

  • No refunds will be granted after JUNE 1, 2000. If a guest chooses to leave prior to the conclusion of their reservation period, no refund will be issued.

  • Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing. Refunds will be received in two separate checks.

* RULES / REGULATIONS
  • As a guest in the CSUS Residence Halls, remember you are sharing the complex facilities with other guests and summer students. Our policies have been established to assist each guest in having a safe and enjoyable stay while on campus.

  • CSUS requires a chaperone to accompany guests under the age of 18. Chaperones must supervise behavior at all times.

  • No alcohol allowed in the housing complex during this event.
