- Video Streaming Playback Issues

Students using Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers have encountered several error messages when attempting to playback the most recent video streaming lectures from their SacCT courses. We recommend that students use Google Chrome browser instead, to access video streaming lectures from a desktop or laptop computer. Please visit the SacCT Issues page for further details.
- Internet Explorer 11, browser issue for instructors

Instructors using Internet Explorer 11 may receive the error message when using SacCT, “Internet Explorer has stopped working.” This is due to a recent update with Internet Explorer 11 which affects instructors who have “Edit Mode : ON” in a course. If you are encountering this problem, please consider using another web browser such as FireFox or Chrome.
- Java Issue

A recent update for Java 7, Update 51, released on Jan. 14, 2014, is affecting several tools in SacCT including: Chat, Multiple File uploads and Blackboard Collaborate. We recommend that you not update your version of Java at this time until this issue is resolved. If you have already installed Java 7 update 51 and are experiencing problems with Collaborate, Chat, or Multiple File uploads please follow these instructions.
- eLearning Video Stream Course Issues

Older versions of Internet Explorer (7, 8 and 9) do not work with the latest e-Learning video streaming courses. In addition, using Safari on a wireless network may also have difficulty displaying videos properly. For these specific courses, we recommend that students and faculty use other browsers, such as Firefox and Google Chrome.
