SacLink Dial-In Services
SacLink Offers:
- High speed service through 56k v.90 and ISDN support
- Accurate and reliable service
- A wide service area
Currently enrolled students, faculty and staff have access to university resources and the Internet through digital telephone services. The service provides enhanced performance for users with 56K v.90 modems and ISDN connections, while continuing to support the lower speed analog modems.
SacLink provides fourteen telephone numbers to service multiple areas throughout the Sacramento metropolitan area. Each caller should contact their local telephone company and select the telephone number which provides the most favorable calling rates.
Introduction
SacLink offers 239 lines to students and 69 lines to faculty and staff. Since the campus dial-in facility is part of the Sacramento State computing environment and is a limited resource, some restrictions do apply.
- Improper use of these resources may result in the termination of a user's access rights. The guidelines that must be followed are those in the SacLink Account Use Agreement which is agreed to when a SacLink account is created. See University Computing and Telecommunications Security Policy and University Computer and Network User Code of Ethics for more information.
