Configuring Outlook 2007 For RPC Over HTTPS

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Mail > Add Account.
2. Click on Microsoft Exchange.
3. Click next.
4. Check configure account manually.
   
   
   
5. Enter mapi.saclink.csus.edu in the server address field.
   
6. Enter your username.
   
7. Click on More Settings.
   
   
   
8. Go the the connections tab.
   
9. Check “Connect to Mirosoft Exchange using HTTP.”
   
10. Click Exchange Proxy Settings.

    
    

11. Type webmail.saclink.csus.edu in the first field.
    
12. Make sure BOTH the “On fast networks...” and “On slow networks...” boxes are checked.
    
13. Under Proxy authentication settings change the setting to Basic Authentication in the Use this authentication when connecting to my proxy server for Exchange: drop box.
14. Click OK.
    
15. Click next and then finish.
