Scott W. Maxwell (’85, Construction Management), vice president of Unger Construction
Scott Maxwell joined Unger Construction in 1985 and went on to become company vice president. He specializes in industrial construction, new high-tech office buildings and renovation of existing telecommunication and data centers. Maxwell is a former president of the Alumni Association and was instrumental in engaging several major donors for the campaign to build the Alumni Center. He and his firm also made numerous upgrades to the Hornet Stadium complex which enabled Sac State to successfully host the 2000 and 2004 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials.
Maxwell was recognized by the Construction Management Department at the 2000 Alumni Honors Luncheon. He is a constant supporter of Sacramento State and serves on the University’s Executive Committee, the Community Council and the Construction Management Education Fund Board.
