Alice D. Perez (’99, Finance and Insurance) manager of residential services, Sacramento Municipal Utility District

Alice Perez oversees programs, products and services for SMUD’s more than 500,000 residential customers. She is also responsible for the group that supports funding for energy efficiency loan programs and oversees programs that assist low-income and special needs customers. Before joining SMUD, she was vice president and leader of U.S. Bank’s national multicultural banking initiatives. She was recently appointed by Gov. Schwarzenegger to the California Student Aid Commission and the ScholarShare Investment Board.

Perez is on the boards of the National Low Income Energy Consortium, Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce Sacramento, Mercy Health Foundation, Center for Youth Citizenship, and American Leadership Forum Mountain Valley Chapter. She served as chair of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is past president of the Rotary Club of Roseville-Sunrise.
