After consulting with students and members of the campus community, Sacramento State will implement schedule changes on all three Hornet Express Shuttle lines beginning in the Spring 2011 semester.
A route change will also be made to the Hornet Line beginning in Spring 2011. The revised route will focus on the south end of campus with stops at Folsom Hall, Napa Hall, The WELL and the 65th Street light rail station.
The new schedules and the new Hornet Line route can be viewed at www.csus.edu/utaps.
In response to feedback from ASI and other students, the University will suspend its plans to eliminate the Gold Line in Fall 2011, and instead will continue to gather ridership data for the Gold Line and assess cost and efficiency of service on all three lines.
Changes to the Hornet Express Shuttle are driven by the need to reduce the program’s budget, as the cost to run the shuttle is currently exceeding available revenue.
