There’ll be tears, laughter, a little trepidation and a lot of celebrating when about 4,090 Sacramento State students get their diplomas during Winter Commencement ceremonies at Arco Arena, Friday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 18.
On Friday, graduating students from the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies will gather at 11 a.m. for a noon ceremony. College of Business Administration students will gather at 2 p.m. for a 3 p.m. ceremony, and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics students will assemble at 5 p.m. for a 6 p.m. ceremony.
For Saturday’s celebration, College of Health and Human Services students will gather at 7:30 a.m. for an 8:30 a.m. ceremony, students from the College of Arts and Letters will gather at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. graduation, the College of Education students will assemble at 1:30 p.m. and collect their diplomas at 2:30 p.m., and wrapping up the weekend is the College of Engineering and Computer Science in which students will gather at 4:30 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
