In 2000-01 he garnered the President’s Award for Research and Creative Activity. As recipient of this year’s Outstanding Scholarly Achievement Award, Wassmer is being recognized for his record in researching topics pertaining to state and local public policy in California.

Sacramento State is joining in bringing car-sharing to the region. Zipcar has placed 10 cars at five sites around Sacramento. When Sac State begins its 2011-12 year, an additional two Zipcars will be at residence halls.
