Football
Saturday: Lost 23-19 to UC Davis in the regular season-ending 58th annual Causeway Classic at Hornet Stadium.
Final record: 4-7.
Men’s basketball
No weekend games. The Hornets’ last game was a 79-68 loss Thursday at Washington State.
Record: 2-1. This week: 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at UC Davis; 7:05 p.m. Saturday vs. McNeese State.
Women’s basketball
Saturday: Defeated visiting Long Beach State 74-67.
Record: 1-3. This week: 7:05 p.m. Wednesday vs. Southern Illinois-Evansville; 2:05 pm. Saturday vs. Eastern Illinois.
Volleyball
Friday: Defeated host Eastern Washington in five games (25-21, 24-26, 20-25, 25-22, 15-8). Saturday: Lost to host Portland State in three games (25-19, 25-22, 26-24).
Next: 7:30 p.m. Friday vs. second-seeded Portland State in a Big Sky tournament semifinal in Portland, Ore. The Hornets, the No. 3 seed, are in the tournament for the first time since 2008.
