Here’s a quick look at how Hornet athletics teams fared this past weekend:

Men’s basketball

Saturday: Lost to visiting McNeese State 68-63.

Record: 3-2. This week: 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Cal Poly; 5:05 p.m. Friday at Oklahoma.

Women’s basketball

Wednesday: Defeated visiting Southern Illinois-Edwardsville 80-66. Saturday: Defeated visiting Eastern Illinois 89-85.

Record: 3-3. This week: 7:05 p.m. Thursday vs. Fresno Pacific; 2 p.m. Sunday at UC Davis.

Volleyball

Friday: Lost to Portland State in four games (21-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19) in a Big Sky Conference tournament semifinal. The loss ends the season for the Hornets, who finish 17-15.
