The panel will take a look at California’s initiative system in general, then consider three propositions with special relevance to the state’s higher education system.
The forum is sponsored by the Graduate Association of Students in Public Policy and Administration. “In the PPA program, we spend a lot of time discussing the California initiative system and the impacts it has on the state’s budget and governance,” says Kathryn Cardenas, PPA student and ASI graduate director. “This event is an opportunity for us to share what we know with the students of Sac State.”
There will be free pizza for the first 70 students, courtesy of Sacramento State’s Public Affairs office.
