Sac State hosts VP Debate viewing

Who: Vice President Joe Biden and Rep. Paul Ryan.

What: Vice Presidential Debate viewing

When: 5:45-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11.

Where: Sacramento State, Amador Hall Room 150, 6000 J St.

Notes: Professor Kim Nalder, director of the Project for an Informed Electorate (PIE) hosts a viewing of the Vice Presidential Debate. The audience will be polled before and after the debate and discuss the issues with a panel of political scientists. Last week’s PIE-sponsored Presidential Debate viewing drew an audience of 130 students, faculty and members of the public.

The press will have an opportunity to interview audience members.

PIE is an effort to identify and distribute accurate, open and nonpartisan information on candidates, initiatives and other political issues to foster greater understanding of politics and government.
