This year’s holidays will have even more special meaning for 3,346 Sacramento State students. That’s how many are eligible to take part in the University’s Winter Commencement on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20-21, at Sleep Train Arena.
The figure includes summer graduates and those from special programs.
CSU Trustee J. Lawrence Norton will be a special guest during Friday’s proceedings. Norton, a retired mediator specializing in education and public policy, and principal of Norton and Associates, will attend the noon ceremony of the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies.
Sacramento State has made it easier for upcoming graduates and their families to participate in this memorable moment with a one-stop Commencement web page, www.csus.edu/commence. There they will find a list of FAQs covering items such as what to bring, how many guests can be invited – even which side of the cap the tassel goes on.
