Central Valley Engineering & Asphalt, a contractor working for the University, will conduct excavation and patch repair to two locations on campus in the pink shaded regions below in Figure 1 and lasting through March 11.
Access to these areas will be governed by traffic control personnel for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the duration of the project to allow the contractor to complete the project in the shortest time possible over the next few weeks. Signage, fencing, traffic cones, and barricades will be utilized in each area while the work is in progress:
Site #1: Reconstruct portions of the ADA walkways and ramps between Facilities and the old Student Health Center. Gate entry from Lot 1 will be detoured to other campus gates Monday through Friday (Feb. 28–Mar. 11).
Site #2: Reconstruct portions of the ADA walkways and ramps between Yosemite Hall and the old Student Health Center. Gate use along State University Drive will be detoured to other campus gates Monday through Friday (Feb. 28–Mar. 11).
Both gates will not be closed at the same time. If you have any questions regarding this project scope and/or schedule, contact Todd McComb at 278-5183.
