The Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program will host an information session for prospective applicants from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in Eureka Hall, Room 329.
The program provides students an opportunity to complete a doctoral degree in three years.
The Ed.D. is an independent educational doctoral degree, and is designed for working professionals and practitioners in the field of education, with class meetings held on weekends and evenings. The three-year advanced study plan is data-driven and emphasizes hands-on practice, policy analysis, leadership skills and individual initiative. Classes follow the cohort learning model, and students progress and develop their skills as a team.
