Men’s basketball

Saturday: Lost at Montana 85-56.

Record: 5-13, 0-7 in Big Sky Conference play. This week: 7:05 p.m. Thursday vs. Weber State; 7:05 p.m. Saturday vs. Northern Arizona.

Women’s basketball

Saturday: Lost 88-79 vs. Montana.

Record: 7-13, 2-5 in Big Sky Conference play. This week: 6:05 p.m. Thursday at Weber State; 5:35 p.m. Saturday at Northern Arizona.

Track and Field

Saturday: Dominique Whittington and Billy Eng, both freshmen, won individual titles at the Bronco Invitation in Boise, Idaho. Whittington won the women’s 400, clocking 58.33 seconds. Eng won the men’s high jump, clearing 6 feet, 6¼ inches. Fifty-three Hornets finished in the top eight in their events.

This week: Friday and Saturday at University of Washington Multi in Seattle.

Gymnastics

Sunday: Lost 196.175-191.875 at 17th-ranked Boise State. Freshman Kalliah McCartney finished second in the all-around.

Record: 0-2. This week: 7 p.m. Friday vs. San Jose State.
