Friday-Sunday: Swept three-game series vs. Seattle. Friday: Won 9-6. Saturday: Won 6-5. Sunday: Won 8-7.

Record: 4-3. This week: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Pacific; 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at UCLA.

Men’s basketball

Saturday: Defeated host Idaho State 70-67.

Final record: 10-18, 5-11 in Big Sky Conference play.

Women’s basketball

Saturday: Defeated host Portland State 84-82.

Record: 12-17, 7-9 in Big Sky Conference play. This week: Idle. Should Portland State lose either of its final two regular-season games this week, the Hornets advance to the Big Sky Conference tournament.


Friday: Lost 196.400-193.750 at No. 20 Denver.

Record: 2-5. This week: 1 p.m. Sunday vs. Alaska Anchorage.


Pacific Coast Softball Conference Crossover Tournament in Moraga: Friday – Lost to Seattle 5-4; defeated Northern Colorado 9-2. Saturday – Lost to Portland State 2-1 in eight innings. Sunday – lost to Portland State 3-2.

Record: 5-4. This week: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday vs. San Jose State; 2 p.m. Wednesday vs. UC Davis; both games at Shea Stadium. Louisville Slugger Invitational in Stockton: Friday – 11 a.m. vs. Washington; 3:30 p.m. vs. Pacific. Saturday – 10 a.m. vs. Delaware; a second game, time and opponent TBD. Sunday – opponent  and time TBD.

Men’s tennis


Record: 2-4. This week: 4 p.m. Friday at Nevada. 

Women’s tennis

Friday: Defeated visiting Weber State 7-0; defeated visiting Idaho state 7-0.

Record: 6-3. This week: 3 p.m. Tuesday vs. Georgia State; 1:30 p.m. Friday at Arizona State; 11 a.m. Saturday at Arizona; time TBD on Sunday at Northern Arizona.

Track and field

Friday-Saturday: The Hornet women finished second and the men fourth at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships is Flagstaff, Ariz. Lauren McGlory (triple jump) and Sakya Bolton (hurdles) won individual titles.
