Sacramento State’s Student Health and Counseling Services is staging its fourth annual book swap to raise money for the Sacramento SPCA and the county Animal Shelter. The campaign for critters takes place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7, in Sac State’s Serna Plaza.

Those wishing to contribute may bring their used books to the Student Health Center in The WELL at the Health and Wellness Promotion office from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays or bring books to swap on the day of the event. Monetary donations in lieu of books will be gratefully accepted at the Student Health Center or at the event.

Questions about the book swap may be directed to Jessica Heskin, Student Health and Counseling Services, at (916) 278-3799. For media assistance, contact Sacramento State’s Public Affairs office at (916) 278-6156.
