Welcome to SARC
Welcome to Sacramento State's Student-Athlete Resource Center (SARC). We are located in two offices on campus:
- Academics, Life Skills and Student-Athlete Development: Lassen Hall 3002
- NCAA Compliance and Scholarships: Athletic Center Suite 1170
The SARC was created in 2006 to integrate three programs that provide very important services to Hornet student-athletes, coaches, and staff: Athletic Academic Services, Life Skills and Student-Athlete Development Services, and NCAA Compliance and Financial Services.
SARC staff in these three areas work together to help student-athletes succeed by:
- achieving their academic goals,
- persisting toward graduation,
- developing as independent and successful young adults,
- and meeting all NCAA eligibility requirements.
SARC staff help student-athletes navigate many campus procedures and policies, understand NCAA rules and eligibility requirements, and provide services that place student welfare and the development of the whole student as a top priority.
Whether you are a new or continuing student-athlete, or a coach, parent, or fan of Hornet Athletics, we hope you enjoy our website and the resources it offers. If you have any questions, please come visit the office, give us a call, or send us an email.
