  • The MLK Center

The MLK Center is a hub for leadership training and development, which is designed to foster leaders of today and for the future. Each year the program hosts a signature leadership retreat which brings in community leaders to train the next generation of leaders through the exploration of cutting edge issues, civic engagement opportunities, and through activities and trainings that build self-discovery and self-renewal for new and continuing MLK scholars. The annual leadership retreat for the summer of 2017 will explore the theme of “Leadership and Persistence: Is It In You?” The event will occur from 10 am to 2:30 pm at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Friday, August 18th. Join us to be inspired for leadership and the pursuit of persistent action.
